What is Accreditation?

Mt. San Antonio College (Mt. SAC) is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC) of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education.

The College is fully accredited and we continue to meet or exceed the accreditation Standards. The Accreditation Steering Committee provides leadership for our work as do the faculty members who oversee the program accreditation
